Fans rushed to Kim Kardashian’s defense after she became the target of slut-shaming during The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady.

During the Netflix celebrity roast special aired on Sunday (May 6), former American Football Quarterback Tom Brady faced a barrage of jokes from a lineup including Ben Affleck, Kevin Hart, and Will Ferrell. Kim Kardashian also made an appearance, but it was the jokes at her expense that sparked controversy.

One of the comedians, Tony Hinchcliffe, referenced Will Ferrell’s Anchorman character Ron Burgundy by mentioning the phrase “whale’s v*gina,” which segued into a jab at Kardashian. He remarked, “She’s had a lot of Black men celebrating her end-zone. Kim, word of advice, close your legs. You have more public beef than Kendrick and Drake.”

While roasts typically involve pushing boundaries, the internet reacted strongly to these remarks, deeming them offensive and inappropriate. Some expressed dismay at the acceptance of such jokes, while others condemned slut-shaming in any context.

Despite the backlash, Kardashian seemed to handle the jokes gracefully, maintaining her composure even as she faced booing from the audience before delivering her own set of jokes. Many praised her poise in the face of adversity, applauding her resilience.

As of now, Kardashian has not addressed the jokes, and Hinchcliffe has yet to respond to the criticism.
