Netflix Ban Reporters From Asking J-Lo One Question Ahead of Premiere

All Bennifer-related questions are strictly off-limits for media covering Jennifer Lopez’s new movie, as reported by TMZ.

Sources with direct knowledge told TMZ that Netflix informed all media outlets covering the Hollywood and Mexico City premieres of “Atlas” that questions about Ben Affleck or Lopez’s personal life were prohibited. Additionally, reporters were told J Lo would only participate in group interviews alongside her co-stars Sterling K. Brown and Simu Liu—essentially, the studio’s way of providing backup.

This strategy was evident during the Hollywood premiere earlier this week, where no one brought up Ben Affleck, even though news had already broken that he and J Lo were living apart.

However, things didn’t go as smoothly in Mexico City on Wednesday night.

During a panel discussion in Mexico City, Jennifer sharply responded to a reporter who asked about her marriage, saying, “You know better.” It’s unclear whether the reporter missed the PR memo or chose to disregard it to pursue the story.

For the general public, the question made sense—Ben and J Lo’s separation has been a hot topic since it was revealed that Ben is staying in a Brentwood rental while Jennifer remains in their Beverly Hills home. Despite this, they have been seen together, attending a play starring Ben’s child and a school event for J Lo’s child, Emme.

Although this doesn’t necessarily mean everything is perfect between them, it suggests they are trying to maintain a cordial relationship. Ben even playfully hid his left ring finger from paparazzi on Wednesday, smiling as he avoided further questions about his wedding ring.

In conclusion, don’t expect Jennifer to answer any relationship questions—unless another reporter decides to cross the PR line.
