The actress reveals the milestone helped her let go and focus on what matters

Anne Hathaway has opened up about how turning 40 completely shifted her mindset.

The actress shared that reaching the milestone helped her step away from putting pressure on herself and start enjoying things more.

And it sounds like a big change.

Hathaway admitted that earlier in her career, she believed being hard on herself would make her better at her craft.

But that thinking did not last.

She said that entering her 40s helped her find a new perspective, one where she is no longer interested in overthinking everything and instead wants to focus on the fun side of life.

It has also changed how she approaches her choices.

According to Hathaway, getting older has made her more aware of how decisions play out over time, allowing her to reflect and decide what habits she wants to keep or leave behind.

There is also a new sense of calm.

She explained that she no longer feels as overwhelmed by highs and lows, saying she now values a more balanced and relaxed outlook.

It is a shift she fully embraces.

Rather than fearing the unknown, Hathaway says she is learning to lean into it, accepting that not everything needs to be figured out straight away.

And she is not slowing down.

With multiple projects on the way, including The Devil Wears Prada 2, Hathaway is entering this new phase of her career with a different mindset.

Less pressure, more perspective.
