Meghan Markle’s Long Awaited Next Move Launches With Controversial Video

Meghan Markle has unveiled her highly anticipated lifestyle brand with a lavish promotional video and an Instagram profile.

The Duchess of Sussex’s latest venture, American Riviera Orchard, is being hailed as a modern iteration of her former lifestyle blog, The Tig, which she shuttered in 2017 ahead of her marriage to Prince Harry. In a romantic promotional video, Meghan is depicted arranging white roses, cooking in her kitchen, and caring for her dog against the backdrop of her expansive Montecito estate.

With over 300,000 followers already, American Riviera Orchard shared the video on its Instagram Stories, while the profile grid showcases the brand’s elegant gold calligraphy logo. Set to the tune of “I Wish You Love” by Nancy Wilson, the video captures Meghan’s lifestyle at her Montecito residence.

The brand’s Instagram bio simply states, “by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex,” with the profile noting that the business was “established” in 2024 and providing a link to its website, americanriviera.com.

Visitors to the website are invited to join a waiting list, although details about the brand remain scarce. Upon signing up, users receive a message promising early access to product releases, availability, and updates from American Riviera Orchard.

The name American Riviera Orchard is believed to be a nod to Santa Barbara, where Meghan resides with Prince Harry and their two children, Archie and Lilibet. The brand’s website bears a striking resemblance to The Tig, Meghan’s beloved lifestyle blog that she launched in 2014 during her tenure on the legal drama Suits.

An insider has shed light on Meghan’s new endeavor, describing it as something “close to her heart.” According to Page Six, the source revealed, “She’s been working on this for over a year and it’s all the things that are close to her heart — all the things she’s passionate about.” Additionally, a Daily Mail source disclosed that American Riviera Orchard is set to coincide with the launch of a new cooking show for Netflix, with plans to produce and sell products such as jams, alongside future endeavors like a book and blog.

A trademark application obtained by Page Six outlines American Riviera Orchard’s product offerings, including edible treats like jellies, jams, and spreads, as well as tableware essentials such as cutlery, linens, and drinkware. Cookbooks are also listed in the filing, while the brand’s logo features a design reminiscent of Meghan’s calligraphy work.

Social media buzz has been palpable, with fans eagerly anticipating Meghan’s announcement about the new venture. Excited supporters have flooded platforms like X with anticipation, expressing their eagerness to see what American Riviera Orchard has in store.
