Questions Raised After Conjoined Twin Didn’t List Her Sister In Marriage Documents

Conjoined twin Abby Hensel’s recent wedding to nurse and army veteran Josh Bowling made headlines, but one detail caught the attention of many—the absence of her sister Brittany on the marriage certificate as a witness.

TMZ revealed that Abby opted for their sister Morgan Hensel and someone named Cosmo Naut as witnesses instead of Brittany, with whom she shares a body. Despite this, the sisters Abby and Brittany, known as dicephalus twins, have captured public interest since their TLC show in 2012, which documented their lives, including major milestones like high school graduation and job hunting.

Sharing a body from the waist down, the twins have distinct organs, including separate spines, hearts, and stomachs, among others. Their unique condition and remarkable achievements, such as obtaining teaching licenses and mastering activities like playing the piano, have fascinated people worldwide.

While Abby controls the right side of their body and Brittany the left, they navigate life with remarkable synergy, even passing their driving test together at 16. Currently working as fifth-grade math teachers in Minnesota, the twins demonstrate exceptional teamwork and adaptability in various tasks.

Despite living away from the limelight, their recent wedding sparked renewed interest, prompting them to address critics on TikTok with a message emphasising their resilience and history. They reminded everyone of their enduring presence, evident even in ancient sculptures depicting conjoined twins, asserting their right to live their lives on their terms amidst the noise of online commentary.
